Our story
My name is Alexandre Cayden.
I was born in Paris, and I have worked in fashion for over ten years.
The idea behind Valmont did not come from a trend, but from a forgotten object: the holster.
An accessory once designed to carry essentials close to the body, securely, without ever restricting movement.
Over time, this object disappeared.
Replaced by visible, bulky bags - often poorly designed and disconnected from the way we actually live today.
I asked myself a simple question:
Why had no one reinterpreted this idea for modern, elegant, everyday use?
Cayden was born from that reflection.
I wanted to bring a functional accessory back to life by transforming it into a true fashion piece - discreet, balanced, and radically different from existing mainstream bags.
Every detail was designed to break the rules:
the way it’s worn, the distribution of weight, its discretion under clothing, and above all, the sense of freedom it provides.
I am proud to have revived a forgotten object,
and to have created a bag that looks like no other.
Cayden is not here to follow.
It is here to redefine.
